With a volunteer career that spans more than 15 years, Aaron Cruikshank started as a youth advisor to agencies such as the City of North Vancouver and the McCreary Centre Society. Now Aaron sits on the Board of Directors for Simon Fraser University’s Alumni Association and mentors companies, individuals and non-profit organizations through organizations like New Ventures BC.

As a youth, Aaron benefited from the services of several non-profit organizations and believes that these organizations can only function with the dedicated assistance of professionals. For that reason, it is the philosophy of Friuch Consulting to spend up to 400 hours per year working in a voluntary capacity with organizations that make BC a better place to live.

In 2008, Friuch Consulting will be spinning off a social enterprise. This new company will provide education opportunities to individuals who could benefit from formal education in business, policy or advocacy but for whom the opportunity cost is too great. News of this launch will be made public in the first half of 2008. If you know of someone who is brilliant but lacks the credentials to advance in their current career, please put them in touch with Aaron Cruikshank, Principal, Friuch Consulting.

Currently, Aaron Cruikshank works with the following organizations on a pro bono basis:

“Aaron Cruikshank is an insightful researcher/interviewer and creative problem-solver who quickly gets to the heart of the issues in a thorough and systematic manner.” Thealzel Lee, Chairwoman of the Board, Learning Disabilities Association of BC
