Going Green Without Looking Retarded

I’m all for doing my part for the environment but there are some “innovations” that really make me think the innovators aren’t thinking about the marketability of a product when they design it.

I submit exhibit A:

What the hell? Are they serious? Who the hell would be caught dead in that? I respect Dean Kamen but this is worse than the Segway Personal Transporter. Here’s a suggestion to anyone trying to develop a green product - don’t make it look like the product in the video.
